| Foxes are very affectionate to each other, especially mothers to their young. When the young foxes are babies, either the mother or father will go out to hunt, and when they come home, it's dinner time! |
As kits, or pups, foxes are very playful and often stay like that! They pounce on each other and play fight, which comes in handy for hunting later in life. In the picture above, the two kits are play fighting. Even though you can't see it, the fox on the right is probably giving his sibling a nip on the neck!
As a full grown fox, they will be able to have their own family and den, and will be able to hunt. In the mating season, spring, foxes mate and have kits.
